All the transfers that went through during the last few days of the transfer window have now been included in our latest update. We’ll still be updating this if you spot any mistakes, and once the loan window opens, you can expect weekly updates then with the latest moves included. As ever, download the file using Rapidshare, and read the readme file if you need helped extracting it!
EDIT: An improved update has now been uploaded, adding a couple of missed transfers. This is from the 5th of February:

The latest data update is now online! All confirmed transfers and managerial moves up to the 22nd of January have been included. Have fun!

Last year, we created a ‘Free Transfer Database’ that allowed you to start a brand new game in which every single player was unattatched. Due to popular demand, we’re making a new one available for FM09. This database works the same as the normal data update inasmuch as installation and the setting up of the game, so download it below and see if you can convince the world elite to join your club.

Hello one and all! You might have downloaded our Football Manager 2008 data update over the past year – and now we’re back with a brand new data update for FM09! From January 2009 we’ll be posting updates every few days with the latest transfers, managerial moves and general data updates so you can play FM09 as accurately as possible!
We’ve just released a beta version of the update which you can download right now.
DOWNLOAD THE BETA UPDATE
From next month we’ll be keeping you up to date with all the latest transfers, but if you want to start a new game now with all the changes confirmed by the end of December, just download the beta. If you spot a mistake, let us know – only don’t tell us about transfers that happened after the update was launched. We’ll probably already know about those!
